Synthetic Grass

There are many varying types of synthetic grass on the market. The Synthetic grass used for The Pet Loo is of optimum quality to reduce your hassles. After lengthy testing, we have ensured that the perforations on the base mat guarantee maximum drainage.
The grass only needs to be replaced if you feel it's necessary (click here if you would like to order more Pet Loo grass). For cleaning purposes pour warm water over the grass daily or alternatively lift it out and hose it down (in the shower if necessary) - remove the grass to allow it to dry. For times when The Pet Loo is not in use (eg: overnight) remove the grass from The Base to air it out.

The Base

The base is slightly angled to assist gravity in the catchment of urine. It has been reinforced specifically to support the weight of an animal and is shaped to channel the urine towards the collection jug.
In order to clean the base, simply remove the grass and wipe the base down with warm water. It is important to know that the use of any cleaning agents on The Base may repel your animal and compromise the purpose of The Pet Loo.

 

Catchment Jug

The catchment jug holds approximately 1.75 litres of liquid and is situated in such a position that ensures the urine is filtered evenly. It is made of a material which is resistant to the acidity of urine and the smells which accompany it. The jug has been positioned and designed to such a shape and size so that it is easily removed and waste can be poured down the toilet with no spillage.

Flea treatment is an all-year-round commitment because fleas can be active in all seasons, and autumn is no exception. Fleas can breed on any untreated animals within your home to produce eggs that develop into immature flea stages that can cause reinfestation. It doesn’t take long for a few fleas to multiply, producing hundreds, even thousands of flea life stages in the environment.

As your pet ventures outside this autumn, it may pick up fleas from the environment. So if you observe a small number of fleas on your treated pet from time to time, don’t be concerned. Frontline Plus works by killing these fleas as they come into contact with the product on the pet’s coat. Frontline Plus is recommended to control existing flea problems, as well as prevent new infestations from occurring. The two active

ingredients in Frontline Plus protect your pet and home by killing the adult fleas on your pet as well as all the flea stages in the environment, thus breaking the flea life cycle at every stage. One ingredient (fipronil) kills adult fleas and the other, (S)-methoprene, ensures eggs, larvae and pupae do not develop into adult fleas. The

two active ingredients working together provides ‘integrated flea control’.

For flea control ensure you apply the correct Frontline Plus product to each pet every month, all-year-round. Frontline Plus pipettes are specifically designed to give the correct dose of treatment to pets in particular weight ranges. The products for dogs and cats are also formulated differently so use the correct pipette for your pet. Thankfully, the protection doesn’t stop at fleas. Frontline Plus also helps protect your pet from the potentially deadly threat of paralysis ticks. If you live in a paralysis tick area, Frontline Plus should be applied to dogs every 2 weeks and Frontline Spray should be applied to cats every 3 weeks during the tick season.
